Operation Migration – Go Cranes Go!

Operation Migration reports that the whooping cranes have now traveled 394.6 miles in 30 days.
Seven states, ~1250 miles, and an unknown number of migration days lie between the 2007 Whooping crane chicks’ fledging ground at Necedah National Wildlife Refuge in Wisconsin, and their wintering grounds in Florida.
